Top 10 controversies of 2020

Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome back to the countdown.

Last time, i covered the Dishonorable mentions of 2020, since we can all agree that 2020 is the biggest Shit Show of the year with so many death reports, people being exposed for being evil that we love to hate and of course, a complete broken systems...!

So i pick 10 of some the worst moments of 2020.

For this list, im picking some moments that are either insane, stupid, offense, understandable and of course, controversial. And maybe all the above. Although im sure most of you can easily predicting the number one spot, but trust, i will talk about it in the end.

So now we got out of the way, lets get started, shall we?

Number 10: Daniel Abt's Disqualification

Since we' re forced to be in pandemic, many people like to be in E-Sport, including some racers out there. Like the fun livestream racing with F1 drivers like Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon, George Russell and even Lando Norris. Which i love watching these guys playing and messing around.

Even though we had some interesting moments of E-Sports like chaotic start of online Australian GP, Bubba Wallace's rage quit (which he lost his sponsor that i find it exaggerating) and even Charles Leclerc vs the lord of failure on F2, Mahaveer Ragunathan in Baku. But what about a racer who likes to be in the race, but ended up facing a real life consequences since Kyle Larson's racism word?

Well, it all started in ePrix Berlin of Formula E's E-Sport called "Race at Home Challenge", a German racer in Audi Sport Daniel Abt has participating the racing for the challenge. However, if we look at his webcam, we noticed that his face was covered from a microphone, resulting us highly suspicious for what's going on.

Well, after the racing (with Oliver Rowland from Nissan e.dams won the race), it was discovered that Daniel Abt wasn't playing, but rather a pro gamer named Lorenz Horzing. Meaning that if you participating on E-Sport, you have to play it, not hiring somebody to pretending its you all along, which is exactly what Abt and Horzing did.

Because of this, Lorenz Horzing was banned from challenge and Daniel Abt got fired by Audi and finishing his season with underpowered team NIO 333 for replacing the crappy driver Ma Qinghua in 6 races in Berlin, right before he disappeared in the end of 2020 of Formula E for his damaging reputation of his career from E-Sports.

Moral of lesson for all you pro-gamers or racers out there, don't hire somebody to pretending its you as i said before, otherwise you'll ended in the same effect at Daniel Abt, my friend.

Number 9: Formula 1's backstage politics and craziest season

Now before you posing death threats on me in the comment section, don't worry, im not saying 2020 is the worst, in fact, its the most rollercoaster riding season we've ever heard.

When it comes to the good things, there's the open season started with a bang, some new tracks that we appreciated like Tuscan GP and the new Portuguese GP (this time in Algarve than Estoril since 1996), some old tracks return like Nürburgring, Imola and Istanbul, a satisfying 70th Anniversary GP (which is a lot better than the godawful 1000th GP last year), Pierre Gasly from Alpha Tauri being the first French who ever won since 1996 with Olivier Panis in 2020 Italian GP, a mid-field teams had a chance to shine like Racing Point, Renault, McLaren and possibly Alpha Tauri and of course, Lewis Hamilton broke a lotta records from most victories to share the same championship record since Michael Schumacher in Ferrari.

But it doesn't mean this season has a sunshine and sparkles, there's a lot of bad things we've ever witnessed.

There's a hopeless performance of Alex Albon in Red Bull (sure, he had some podiums, but the damage was already done), Nico Hulkenberg being a last minute call for replacing Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll in Racing Point due to the virus (Don't worry, we'll get to that later on), Williams are still in struggle their weak performance with a family business came to an end, some tracks are utter boring to watch like Sochi, Barcelona-Catalunya and even the seaosn finale Abu Dhabi, Ferrari being a bunch of clowns for their failures, George Russell in Mercedes got screwed by his team in Sakhir GP and worst of all, Romain Grosjean brought us one the worst incident we've ever seen in Bahrain GP and even how to end his F1 career, though thankfully he survived from an explosion and lets hope this will never happen again.

Not to mention, this season also has a backstage politic from two teams, such Mercedes that during the pre-season before the Pandemic F1 season, it was discovered that their car has "Dual Axis Steering", its a device that when drivers pulled their steering wheel, the toe of their cars turn in order to gain more aerodynamic. Though FIA did noticed that, but they let them keep it before it will be banned at the end of the season.

But nothing can compare that one team who received a big punishment with Racing Point. Once again, during the pre-season test, numerous reports that their cars looks eerily similar to Mercedes's 2019 car, mainly for the similar body design, giving a nickname "Pink Mercedes", though this may sounds legal, but then it gets more controversial. It turns out Racing Point not only copying the body, but also recycling the Mercedes's brake ducts from the rear. So the FIA are considered their movement of copycat being "Illegal", causing the team ducting 15 points of constructors championship and fining 400k Euros. However, the pink British team, Ferrari, Renault, Williams and McLaren are trying to appeal based on Racing Point's clearing their name, but they gave up.

Overall, this season is such a chaotic story telling with numerous crazy stuff like great moments, some dramatic moments and of course, some very bad and controversial moments. So lets hope we're going back to regular basis at 2021 season of F1.

Number 8: Jaystation, the Canadian Douchebag

Now if you think im done talking about the Youtube drama? Oh boy, there's a bunch of stuff to chose one, whether is Paul Brothers kept trash talking for boxing matches, LeafyisHere got banned for no reason (even if i don't like him), Alinity being Alinity or even Dream being accused for cheating to play Minecraft, but the one that really stuck in my mind is one of the current worst Canadian Youtuber since the slutty one named Nicole Arbour, his name is Jaystation.

For those you don't know (if you're like me for never seeing those videos), Jaystation is a Canadian Youtuber for doing pranks and challenges at 3:00 AM. But he's also the most hated and controversial user based on stupid stunts, some that he got arrested and even the exploitation of dead celebrities/Youtubers like Mac Miller and Etika.

But then did something far worse in 2020, where he made several videos with his former girlfriend Alexia Marano, which although it started ok, but then, something went wrong. In January 2020, Jaystation announced that his former girlfriend was killed from the fatal car crash from drunk driving, but many people (like me) are easily to predict that he just flat out lied over Alexia's "death".

It turns that not only she's ok, but she wanted to break up on him due to the fact that she got scammed from the beginning, which resulted a police arrived to arresting him for not just abusing her, but also assault with weapons. Even if it may or may not be confirmed, but im glad to hear the police came in to punishing for how monstrous Jaystation really is to be on Youtube since The Paul Brothers. I mean, Jaystation is the Canadian version of Jake and Logan Paul. Plus, not only he got trouble from the police, but he also got demonetized by Youtube based on his merchandise and his videos are populated by minor fanboys.

As time went on, he does issued a public apology for how awful he really is, resulting him to going on hiatus before coming back in April of 2020. And as im working on my project, he's still doing a crappy 3 AM videos, his videos are nothing but no originality, no effort, worthless and waste of time to watching his videos.

In the end, im still wishing him for the worst of his Youtube career.

Number 7: Delayed Election Day

Now this is a tough choice between the Election day or the countless moments with Donald Trump, but having Trump on my list is way too easy, so i left it to Election day on my list.

It all started in the debate between Trump and Joe Biden where it went very bad, its not really a debate, its a full of argument of words between of two, where Joe Biden pointed at Trump for doing something ridiculous, while Trump being rebellious that he's doing the right thing and he knows more, making it one the worst debate we've ever seen.

However, after the debate war, its time for the election, where i kept telling everyone in America on Twitter to vote for Biden and Biden only then Trump, at first, i was worried that Trump will defending his seat, but it turns out the election is nothing but overdose of stress, raging from war between supporters and difficulty counting based on postal votes

Not mention, while we've been waiting for the counting, it had numerous protest of Trump fans kept telling to stop counting the votes and even a lawsuit against republicans. But in the end, Joe Biden is declared as the next President of USA and nearly everyone in US are so happy and relief that the Trump era is over. But sadly, we got numerous Trump fanboys trying to protesting that all the votes are full of lies, cheats and steals, even Trump believes that he's the real winner when Biden won it from the counting votes, no matter how many times we've seen plenty of Trump's sore losing trend on Twitter.

In the end, this election debacle makes it on number 7 on my list, because at least we have a happy ending with Joe Biden to bring peace in US and telling Trump to kiss our asses.

Number 6: Nintendo's Cancelling Competitions

Let me start off by saying that, even though i love Nintendo so much, but it doesn't mean Nintendo is perfect, because they made some bad moves from unfair strict rule at several third party groups to falsely violating at the community since their Youtube censorship during the era of Wii U.

But then there's one moment that got so bad that i had to put on the list before the end of 2020, which happens to be Nintendo made a double insults at the community for the supposed competition.

Around on June 2020, for the "upcoming" E-sports competition called "The Big House", a group called "Project Slippi" came in to introducing a mod for Super Smash Bros Melee to including a replay and online matchmaking system, since Nintendo Gamecube didn't have online connection than the competitors like Playstation 2 and the first Xbox. Now, you think that Nintendo will accept the mod in order to updated it for focusing on online, right?

Nope!

Instead, Nintendo went to attacking The Big House with "Cease and Desist" letter that either they demand them to take it out or canceling the competition, because putting mod in a old game is "Illegal". When i heard that, i was never believing what they did, they could've just shrugged off and let them do it, but instead, they screwing over The Big House over the mod.

As a result, everyone in the community are angry over the cancelation by going into a trending protest that modding the game is a free speech and freedom and creativity, not violation at Nintendo's property, with plenty of trends like "FreeSmash" and "SaveMelee". So you think that Nintendo will issue the public apology for their big mistake, right?

NOPE!

Nintendo proceeded to double down with giving a middle fingers at the community by canceling the competition of Splatoon at the same time. Resulting to... You guessed it, more backlash at Nintendo's movement against the E-sports.

Even though i like Nintendo, but this is something that they need to handle the free speech and of course, handling the criticism what the community wanted. Sure during the "Game Award show", they tried to stay positive to including Sephiroth in Smash Bros Ultimate, but the damage is already done for attacking the community and the E-sports.

In the words of Michael Jordan: Stop it...    Get some help...

Number 5: 2019–20 Australia bushfire season

Lets face it, our world are still struggling to dealing with wildfires, especially in California in USA, which it became very common of burning forest that they need to learn the environment for save the forest. But nothing can compare from the nightmare in Australia.

The fire all started back in June of 2019 that the Queensland Fire and emergency Service are in panic warning from the lack of soil moisture, which it will causing a climate change. But unfortunately, the fire in the wild went very bad as we saw it on pictures and news reports, ranging for environment endanger, an accident, a lightning strike or even an allege arson. The fire burns not just one forest, but almost the entire country itself, with over over $103 billion of damages that it costs, 46 million acres got burned, the wildfire acres are bigger than California, 34 people died from the fire, and worst of all, the wild animals suffered as well, including Koalas, meaning they're in a verge of extinction.

It was a huge devastation of Australia's big fire that causes a huge disaster what we've witnessed, lets hope the big bushfire will never happen again, as well as saving Koalas without causing them into extinction...

Number 4: Shut downs and financial crisis

*sigh* You know, its always not easy that we wanna going out whatever we want or even for our schedule.

Even since we've seen a dangerous report about the virus (again, we'll get to that later on), numerous places are forced to shut down without any risk what so ever in the spring of 2020. Although it sounds good on paper, but it concerns many things.

These includes activities like cinema (which i was planned to do watch some movies for my review), traveling and theme park being closed, sporting events being halted (Like NASCAR, F1, Formula E, Indycar, NBA, NHL, NHF and other sports) or canceled (like Indy light) and several business are limited to be temporary opened or closed.

Sure, we did eventually re-opened, but the damage was already done, with the colors of the zone that its either ok or endangered, it made many people concerned for businesses, the ratings and the financial. In fact, i had a part time business in my homeland Canada before warning message popping in. And worst of all, several places are permanently shut down due to a combination of virus and the financial crisis.

This means losing jobs, there will be no money. without money, there will be no healthcare and forced pay rent. Without those, our lives will be doomed! I know im exaggerating, but this made me worry for many people who have jobs and the money to save their stuff.

Lets hope we're going back to regular basis in 2021 once we clean and fixing up the issues.

Number 3: Youtube's Clowny business (aka Youtube is dead!) and DMCA Felony

Oh you think im done with Youtube? Well, im not talking about the Youtubers, but Youtube itself!

Ever since they got into trouble from FTC's COPPA for stealing info without parents notice, they changed the rule that many of videos that either with kids toys, kids shows or whatever, there will be NOTHING! No comments, no putting playlist and no profits per views when you put it as a "family friendly" video, even though i've already covered it from last year's controversy.

But right now, Youtube is still going to F***ing over their systems by abusing innocent users for following the rules, we've seen plenty of users that either they got suspended for the "spam", got their video strike down for nothing and of course, banning users for no reason what so ever!

One user Belle Delphine made a music video that was uploaded on Youtube, despite she has other account called "OnlyFans". But all the sudden, her channel got terminated for quote "due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content", but in reality, she got banned for NOTHING! Causing into a backlash to defending Belle that she doesn't doing anything wrong. Though Youtube did eventually bring her channel back, but the damage was already done, due to of course, Youtube pretty much don't know what they're doing, causing Belle saying "Nope, its too little too late, Youtube, because... I Quit!" (Though she only has two videos on her channel as im working my project).

But the nightmare of broken down social media doesn't stop there, oh no! I have another one that put on the list as a tie, which happens to be a new and horrible rule of DMCA!

A senator of North Carolina named Thom Tillis decided to creating a bill rule that according to the bill, whenever we put a copyright music in the background or whatever while we're in livestream, we're committing a crime and put ourselves into jail more than three years.

WHAT?!?!

What the F*** is wrong with this mess?! This is downright abusive towards stream users and content creators, we can post whatever like to like the good'ol days, but now, Thom took a new level of abusing Fair Use by putting you into prison for using copyrighted songs when you're on livestream like Twitch, Youtube or whatever!

When i heard that, i was immediately jumping on the bandwagon of protest on Twitter in order to stop the new and horrible rule of DMCA and most importantly, we want Fair Use! Fair Use is the long lost friend of the internet, we might as well going back in the mid-late 2010 decade with the use of "WTFU" (Where's The Fair Use) because we don't deserve to be abused for nothing!

Today, we gotta act very fast that we don't want to let this happening, because we don't wanna see innocent users get swatted on livestream for using a copyrighted music in the background, otherwise, the internet will be doomed forever. That's why it concerns me that i have to put this and Youtube's broken system in tie on my list, those need to stop... NOW...!!

Number 2: George Floyd's death and overdose of protests/riots (aka the overdose of BlackLivesMatter)

*sigh* Don't you just hated that the American polices are still didn't never learn their lesson, right?

After we've seen some reports of police brutality against some innocent minority like black people, you think that we wanna let black people in peace without any abuse, right?

Nope, we're still stuck in the past.

Cause it all started back in May of 2020, where a poor jobless and innocent black person named George Floyd was killed by a police office and by putting on his knee over Floyd's neck and they brutality crossed the line for our reaction.

This resulting a worldwide protest with the use of "Black Lives Matter", meaning black people are an actual PEOPLE, not being treated as either a toy or a slavery and we definitely knew that we're sick and tired of seeing black people get killed by the police departments, George isn't the only one who died like that, there's Breonna Taylor in March and Rayshard Brooks in June.

But the drama of "Black Lives Matter" gotten too far, and i do mean too far. Not only we have a flock of protestors, but there's also a rioters for looting many places and even a fight and death threat towards police. I mean, i understand we're sick and tired of repetitive of police brutality, but that doesn't make an excuses to going on riot and attempt to destroying police department, not to mention, Trump (before he lost his seat of present of America) even sent an army to stop the protest/riot (Gee, does that sounds familiar to you?)

Look, i have some friends who happens to be black and i have a good respect to them, but this whole police brutality against them are sickening me and probably some of my black friends as well. I hope this whole police brutality against blacks has to stop, we're getting tired of those...!

And now, the number one biggest controversy of 2020 goes to....!

Number 1: COVID-19 aka the virus of "The End of the world"

You know its coming on number one, don't ya?

Out of all the controversies that we've seen, this is one is pretty obvious how it cause 2020 a major catastrophic year.

It all started back in late 2019 from the exposure of Corona-Virus breaking in at Wuhan, China from either a bat, some other wild animal or some people with the virus. At first, we figured "Ok, lets say the virus only happened in China, cause this country is F***ed up, right?". But instead, the virus started to spreading outside of China, causing a numerous reports of panic about the outbreak of the COVID-19 from Europe to America.

And remember some of previous list and honorable mentions that i talked about like shut downs, financial crisis and such?

Those are the effects from the COVID we've been suffered because of the virus! Its not just a those, but its the rules that we're forced to live with it like hand washing, wearing masks and even social distant, which i considered the latter one being impossibly unnecessary, like why can't you just change the rule to "Do not touch people", which makes it lot more sense than the stupid social distancing!! But as far as im concerned, not only it made us concerned, but it angered us as well, we just want to going back in the regular basis without the virus, but it also cause some of our lives in risk.

As im working on my project and checked in Wikipedia, there over  84 million cases where people got tested positives (including USA has 20 millions from either protest or some states have no virus rules), over 1.8 million people were killed from the virus and lastly, over 47 millions are recovered.

And of course, as right now, we're gladly heard that the vaccine is on the corner that we seriously need it to recovering our lives in order to stop the spreading virus and most importantly, going back in our regular basis without the damn virus.

With all the cancelations, the police brutalities and others out there, the outbreak of COVID-19 is easily considered as the number one biggest controversy and biggest reason why 2020 is the worst.

So this end of this countdown (Thank god...!), but got any other controversies that i mist, let me know in the comment section bellow.

If you guys have your opinion or any suggestions, let me know at comment bellow and support me on KO-FI.com/blackevil.

Top 12 movies of 2019

Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome to my countdown of the year 2019.

Last time, i've covered my five pick of the worst films i have ever seen, ranging from disappointed to the worst. So enough with negativity, lets going to the positive for the films.

Today, i counted 12 movies that i considered from ok to the best. As always, these are my pick that i like or love to watch.

So before we get started, lets go with three Honorable Mentions.

Honorable Mention 1: Dora and the lost city of gold

With a movie based on a education kid shot, it was rather unlikely that we believe that it belongs for kids to watch, but i think its ok. The story is standard like an adventure films, the presentation looks nice, the characters are ok and the humors are rather childish, but again, it was gear towards kids who grew up with this show in Nick Jr.

Honorable Mention 2: Aladdin 2019

Due the to trending of movie remake, i find the movie itself is rather average while looking back. Though its nice to have one of my favorite film from Disney Renaissance era, but it has some problems, the movie is nearly copycat'd (not as much as The Lion King 2019), the story is similar, but with a new plot element, the characters are not bad at the time, the acting is rather fun, the musics are ok and the presentation looks sooo video game look like for the quality, especially with Will Smith in blue skinned Genie, jeez this looks so wrong and creepy...!

Honorable Mention 3: Steven Universe The Movie

Ok, i might be a cheater that this isn't a theatrical movie, it was in fact a TV movie on Cartoon Network, but honestly, this film is pretty good to watch, as a fan of SU. It picks up after the show's final episode where we originally to live happily ever after since our heroes build a school for reformed Gems. but of course, a new evil force with Spinel is going after Steven, which we still question for why Steven/Pink Diamond left her in the dark without coming back for thousands of years. Despite the flaws that we questioned over Steven/Pin Diamond's forgotten past, at least it was fun for watching with interesting story, animation is always look good, the characters are likable and songs are pretty good. As today, we have "Steven Universe Future" as a limited show. So if you're a fan of hybrid with Crystal gems, go watch this movie.

So now we got them out of way, lets get started the countdown, shall we?

Number 12: Captain Marvel

Lets started with the one that even though i like about Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel), but when it comes to this movie, although i liked it, just a little bit.

Though the story is rather nice where introduces her as a member of Starforce for taking over with their power against the Skrulls, despite that Carol Danvers is suffered an amnesia and can't stop having a nightmare about an elder lady with her right before she's stranded on Earth to first meeting young Nick Fury.

The reason why put this film in the lower list is that looking back, i can probably understand why some people felt that Brie Larson's role of Captain Marvel is pretty weak. I mean since im interested about Carol Danvers's Captain Marvel from her powers, her history and maybe her appearance, but when it comes to her in this movie, i find her ok, she has potential, but aren't as memorable as either Iron Man, Star-Lord, Thor, Spider-Man or even Black Widow. I know they tried, they really tried to be a big deal.

But to give a credit, the story is rather fascinated, the presentation (minus the use of digital de-age which sometimes it looks nice, but other times kinda poor) and the action are pretty good and outside of Carol, the other characters are interesting, along with Nick Fury, Talos, Korah and Mar-Vell.

Even though Carol Danvers might be powerful, but aren't as good enough then rest on the list. Which makes a good reason why it was lower on the list.

Number 11: The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

During the time before several studios wants to cashing to making their toy movies based on toy brands, The Lego Movie is the most groundbreaking film for not just moviegoers, but also the fans/collectors of Lego. For me, i love Lego since i was a kid, even though im only stick to Hot Wheels, but i still like Lego, specially since i remembered playing with "Lego Dimensions" (May R.I.P....)

So successful in fact that they made a sequel. Which after we had a cliffhanging ending from the first film, you think that they'll expanding the world and series in the world of Lego and becoming "Super-Cool" of this movie? Well... Its yes and no.

The plot is about Emmett's friends are taken away from Sweet Mayhem to the Systar System with Princess  Watevra Wa'Nabi where he has to save them with his new partner Rex Dangervest (aka a badass hero with many of Chris Pratt's refence). It feels like a typical escort mission that i find it to be pretty weak of the story.

Despite of weak writing of the plot, but it was fun with humors, the animation is still look good with use of CG to pretending to be a stop-motion based on Lego's movements, it looks amazing with sets, bright and colorful, the songs are good and the characters fascination (even if Emmett is pretty much like the original by thinking "Nah, this is fine").

Sadly, due to the low performance at the box-office (but at least its not a flopped film), Warner Bros are calling quit when their rights of Lego is expired and leaving Universal Pictures owned the rights to make their own, despite they kept the spin-off projects that are still in development.

Despite the movie's being overshadowed and a under-performance of box-office, lets hope for the best with Universal Pictures with Lego license in the future.

Number 10: Fighting with my Family

As a fan of wrestling, i've been fascinating with all the matches, some memorable pro-wrestlers, some intense actions and even the stories. However, we always like to figure "What if there's a movie with wrestler's origin?", which is exactly what we have with "Fighting with my Family".

Based on memoir by Paige herself, this movie is basically like the 2008 film "The Wrestler", but only more of based of true story with Saraya Knight (but her real name is Saraya Bevis), better known as Paige who's trained to joining WWE before she became a history to becoming WWE Diva Champion in Monday Night RAW after Wrestlemania XXX. Its pretty fascinating to see her as a real life underdog to rising herself for not just her dream, but for her family as well. The presentation with wrestling matches are fun to watch, the characters based on real people (or not) are pretty good whether they care for Paige or in rival.

However, like Bohemian Rhapsody, even though its a fun movie, but it doesn't mean that its perfect. For example, the character's look may or may not look fitting (such as AJ Lee, whcih in real life, she looks a lot younger than wrestler/actress Zelina Vega who played the movie version), some wrestling matches could be a little bit flawed, some name change like aforementioned Paige's real name, some characters are taking too seriously at Paige and some of moments of Paige is missing, like they cut where she's been in NTX show where she won the NXT Woman's championship.

Even though it may not as perfect to follow her true story, but at least they tried for our favorite British female wrestler in WWE, even though she kept wrestling before she retired in 2018 to preventing her painful injury. Even though its shame that retired, but hey, she had a nice run, for the time... And final note, its rather nice to see The Rock in the movie too.

Number 9: Joker

Though MCU's Captain Marvel wasn't as memorable for a development, but Joker on the other hand is quite disturbing and violent.

The movie's re-origin of The Joker is actually a pretty good that we have a man who has a mental problem for his uncontrollable laughter involving deaths or others instead of falling in the pool of acid like we've seen in the comics and on the screen. Its no secret that they wanted to be realistic for a mental issue to leaving him becoming the prince of crime.

The story is rather fascinating to go from his clown and comedian career falling apart to becoming a memorable crime that we all know, especially for following the direction, along with the presentation. Though to movie doesn't have a lot of actions, but the action scenes are rather brutal that is almost like a realistic occurring crime, even if most people didn't like about the use of violent, but as a sick person with blood, im ok with it.

However, the reason why it was on number 9, is that the movie is taking a long while before we get to the brutal fight, though i know the movie is focus on the plot of the research and Arthur (pre-Joker) dealing with his life in good side to having a girlfriend or even confronting over Wayne's family. But again, it was rather slow to watch.

Even though it maybe flawed, but it has a reputation for a first R-Rated superhero movie with billion dollars and lets hope for something promising with DC Black universe.

Number 8: Pokemon: Detective Pikachu

As we know, we originally have two movie based on video games like Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog, but i think we can all agree that Detective Pikachu has a good start, while Sonic had a nightmare look from the first trailer, which is no wonder why it got delayed.

But for Detective Pikachu, it looks a lot much more promising for world building (sometimes) and Pokemons look. Like im very appreciated how they executed presentation in the world of Pokemon, unlike any other crappy video game movies that they look loosely stupid. Though it was not just based on the main focus of Pokemon, it was mainly based on the spin-off game with a same name. Though i never played it and heard the game is pretty boring, but i think this movie much more fun than the game itself. And of course, the acting is somewhat, while the humans are raging from good to a bit questionable of acting ability like Justice Smith as Tim Goodman (despite he's sorta a well-written character), but we can all agree that Detective Pikachu himself was easily stole the spotlight for his sense of humor and fun performance of the same actor who played Deadpool.

However, the reason why it was low, its just that even the story is somewhat good, but its just plain formulaic, its basically a typical solving the mysterious case with Pokemon, where Detective Pikachu is suffered amnesia to figure out who he is and find out about Tim's father's disappearance. Like it almost like the same curse of formulaic as the first Deadpool movie. Which if we have a typical detective movie, why can't we could give more plot element like how to train Pokemon where Tim's friend Lucy helping him for becoming a Pokemon trainer, despite in business of detective. But, it does sorta have original for how there's a purple smoke that causes a temporary disease to casuing Pokemon into berserk.

Even if its not the most perfect movie based on video game, but at least they have their effort for the presentation, the knowledge of Pokemon and some fun characters.

Number 7: Spider-Man Far from Home

Like i said early, we've expecting that Carol Danvers will be the likable hero in MCU, but ended up in a weak execution, otherwise in the words of Tony Stark "If you're nothing without the suit, then you shouldn't have it...!". But with Spidey in MCU, he'll always never disappoints.

As we all know, it picks up after Endgame where Spider-Man has no choice but to be himself while on a trip in Europe without getting too much depressing when his mentor Tony Stark sacrificed himself. And of course, the movie does have a new character like Mysterio. The movie is rather fascinating at the time for once again, the costumes, the action, lovable casts and the presentation of effects.

But the reason why i put this at number 7, its just that although Mysterio might have been a fascinating character, but his twist just comes off as unfair that he's involving the fake Elementals and faking his power with Stark Industries drone for his revenge when he got fired. Like i though the Elementals looks pretty cool that maybe they could be real, but Quentin Beck (Mysterio) is involved for his stunt to be a big deal.

Even if the movie is good, but im considering to be not as greater as "Spider-Man Homecoming", im sorry to say, the whole twist of Mysterio just kinda frustrated me.

Number 6: Godzilla: King of the monsters

Not let me start off by saying that, yes, this movie is bellow average based on the critics and some movie goers, but as a fan of Kaiju, i'd say its not as bad some of 70's Godzilla or the godawful 1998 version.

The story itself is pretty fascinating where it show us, with five years after Gdozilla killing off MUTOs (sorta), the government are order to building the organization facility called "Monarch", in order to do a research if there's more than one Kaijus. Oh im sorry, i mean "Titans" (Yeah, i don't like what they called, but im still stick to calling "Kaiju", dammit!).

Though i like the setting of a potential Kaijus anywhere around the world, but as we all know, Godzilla (and maybe Kong), there are three new monsters that are born such as Mothra, Rodan and of course, King Ghidorah. With the exception MUTO who's unexpectedly return, they even introducing new Kaijus by Legendary like Behemoth (Who's a giant mammoth), Scylla (a monster looks like a cross between Kumonga and Cthulhu) and Methuselah (a giant turtle-like with mountain). Even though i like they brought back our familiar Toho monsters, while the non-Toho monsters are rather fascinating. However, there are two monsters are unable to be in the movie such as Gigan and Kumonga, its disappointed, because these guys deserve another chance to come back. The action, the effects and the lighting are much more cooler and colorful to watch, which this film easily fixed the issue from Godzilla 2014.

Even though the story with the Monarch is pretty good, but its no safe when it comes to the human plot. With the exception of Dr. Serizawa that i considered him as a fascinating character, the human plot about a confrontation between Monarch and the terrorist when it comes to survival with the Kaijus, and especially that the whole family is just plain stupid and the use of Oxygen Destroyer at Godzilla is not only unfair, but also way too early to inventing it to ruining our king of Kaiju.

Even though not a lot of people didn't like the human plot and some cheap element, but at least its a good Kaiju film that i considered recommended for Kaiju fans like me.

Number 5: Frozen 2

Frozen is no secret to be one of the most popular around the community, we love the setting, the animation, the humor and of course, the lovable characters of the series that it became with shorts. With the sequel, although its a welcome return what we've waiting for, but like always, its not as perfect.

The idea expanding the world in Frozen is a pretty good idea what we like to see outside of Arendelle with Enchanted forest and Ahtohallan, im very appreciated for the expending the world, the animation is still looks great like before from the background designs, the effects from spirits, the musicals and the animation of the characters. The characters are always enjoyable what we care and rooting for, especially with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven.

However the reason why i never put this one into podium is that the story is disappointing where we go, its about our heroes follow the mysterious voice where Elsa heard, thinking about something went wrong in Enchanted forest with missing soldiers and the chaos from the spirits. And of course, the movie also include the mystery of the fifth element that i find it a cliche choice that its been done before. The movie also has a subplot where Kristoff wants to marrying with Anna just comes off as out place and possibly predictable from beginning to end.

Even though this is not what we wanted for Frozen 2, but at least Disney tried for our support.

Number 4: Toy Story 4

I know im might gonna hurt any Pixar fans out there when i put this in number 4 on my list, but just hear me out, please?

For starter, when we heard that Toy Story 4 was announced, we had no idea why Pixar wanted to make another one, which we believe that they're gonna milking their series of Toy Story. But when the movie came out, man it was a rollercoaster ride of emotion.

The story about Woody and his gang living in their new life from new owner Bonnie after Andy give his toys away is kinda nice, until we witness our new toy named Forky who's always believe in trash than toys, which is up to Woody and perhaps one of his friend are helping to save Forky without causing concern for Bonnie. However, once they brought back Bo Peep, things get interesting since after her absence from Toy Story 3, which we were concern for by Bo is gone. Like im bery appreciated that they brought her back based on our concern and perhaps a plothole from before. I mean seeing a reunion between Woody and Bo is welcome return and this is something that you don't cry. And don't give me started on the ending, because if you wanna know, watch the whole movie and hope you don't get too depressed like i do, even though i didn't cry while watching it.

Aside a well-written story and good humor, the animation is once again, a wonderful upgrade for more locations, the lighting, colors, the designs and even animation of the toys themselves. The characters has been change since previous films that we grew up and we always love them, especially for the return of Bo Peep, even the voice acting is always enjoyable.

But like i said, the reason why i put this at number 4, its because since we had a perfect way to end at Toy Story 3, i find it rather unnecessary when they made a 4th one, cause i like to having the 3rd one is enough and live happily ever after, but since 20% fans and Pixar think it wasn't perfect enough, they have to make another, but in the end, despite my nitpick, i enjoy the movie, but don't get a shed of tears if you wanna watch this movie.

Number 3: Shazam!

Well, that must be a big surprise for DCEU film.

After a lot of films that are very disappointed to badly (Minus Wonder Woman, Aquaman and maybe Suicide Squad), when we heard about they're making a film about Shazam, we were not so sure if its gonna be good, but in reality, it never disappoints us.

The story is rather well-written from beginning to end, where Thaddeus Sivana was mysteriously went into Rock of Eternity to meet an ancient wizard named "Shazam" for a pure heart, but Thaddeus is ended up being unworthy when he release the Seven Deadly Sins in order to gets his revenge. Meanwhile in present time, we have Billy Batson, a boy who lost his mother that he was adopted by the foster family with other kids who're lost too, including his best pal Freddy Freeman. However, after being chased by the stranger, he was transported that he chosen by the same ancient wizard to give Billy power by calling the name "Shazam!" to becoming a superhero thanks to Thaddeus who broke free the sins.

I admitted, im very appreciated for the story (despite a typical superhero story) for not just well-written, but also for a fun dialogue having fun with it to giving a sense of humor and a lighter tone. But of course, the action scenes, the costume and of course, the characters that we love and care, especially with Billy Batson, which at first i never heard nor care about Billy, but with this movie, Billy Batson/Shazam is probably my new favorite DC superhero, especially some other characters who're also likable like Freddy Freeman, since he's an enthusiasts of superheroes.

Even though DCEU is in bad shape, but with Shazam's success, maybe this will be DCEU's redemption for their future film, even if they could do a reboot like Suicide Squad. Aw well, only time will tell.

Number 2: Ford V Ferrari

From before, i remember seeing Rush in 2013 and i enjoyed it. But when it comes to Ford V Ferrari, this one is even more fun and entertaining to watch, as a fan of Motorsport.

Unlike Rush which is about the famous rivalry between James Hunt and the recent late Niki Lauda (R.I.P., three times champ) in Formula 1, this one is about the set between Ford and Shelby to building their own LM car that'll change the world in 24 hours of Le Mans in 1966, the story has a nice way to introduce for their origin, whether is Ford Motor Company are losing employees since they got rejected from Ferrari for the deal, Carroll Shelby was forced for being retired of racing and becoming an owner of his own motor company and Ken Miles being a struggling mechanic for his racing.

Even though there are maybe some moments was missing, but i enjoyed the story for building up the car, the karma plan to beat Ferrari and lot of things that we can't wait to see for the main event like Le Mans. The presentation looks amazing for taking place in the 60's with a lot of old fashion stuff, especially if you're one of fan of car looks like me. Speaking of cars, the racing scenes are enjoyable to watch and nicely depicted for chasing the lead as hard as possible, the strategy decision and it feels like a real race to watch, which we can agree that the racing sequences are the highlights of this film. Not to mention, even the characters are pretty fascinated too, especially for the chemistry between Carroll Shelby and Ken Miles for working together for test the car and the strategy, although there are some that i do like at the time.

This movie based on the real racing is enjoyable to watch from the set up the concept car, the racing sequences, the presentation and a wonderful casts. And last but not least is, at least it looks fun and better than "Driven".

And now... The number 1 movie of the year i've ever watch goes to...!

Number 1: Avengers Endgame

This one is not only the improvement from "Infinity War", but this is easily the biggest film ever we've ever saw, but in not just good, it is the most perfect film i've ever watch, i can't help to tell how i love this movie after three hours...!

As we know, it picks up right after Infinity War (along with mid-credit of Captain Marvel), where our remaining heroes of Avengers are trying to tracking down Thanos to bring back, but was already too late. Five years later, Scott Lang (aka Ant-Man) is asking the remains of the Avengers for asking what is happening (since he was trapped in Ant-Man and The Wasp) and looking for help to bring everything back, by time traveling of course! Unlikely at first, but its up to them to go back and get the Infinity Stones without being noticed by pre-Infinity War Thanos.

Even though its somewhat ridiculous at first, but honestly, i think its rather fascinating to watch and rooting for, especially that it makes give us a nostalgia a bit where our heroes traveled to the movies that remembered before like "Avengers", "Guardians of the Galaxy" and the not-so good one "Thor: The Dark World". The presentation is once again, looks amazing for the effects, the costumes, colorful quality and as always, the action scenes are outstanding. But of course, the characters are lovable, even though they've been changed after failing to seeking Thanos with Infinity Stones, we always like to rooting our heroes to bring the half livings back (especially the dead members of Avengers). But of course, the acting and the dialogue are also enjoyable whether we love and cry in the same time.

And i should mention that having a big battle with the Infinity Stones along with our remaining heroes resurrecting was a huge surprised, emotional and exciting to watch. Like when i saw it in theater, i was goosebumps to watch for an epic war. And especially the end of war, the way it ended is one helluva climatic and depressing, like where Tony sacrificed to using his Infinity Stones to destroy the evil force and Thanos for his final straw before he died.

But of course, this film is not just the biggest, but it became a recent changing history, mainly the box-office, since we're always pumping up for Endgame, the movie was quickly became the highest grossing film quickly and most importantly, the movie beat James Cameron's Avatar with more than $2.798 billion over Avatar's $2.79 billion, making Avengers Endgame is the current Number 1 highest-grossing film of all time.

As a fan of superhero, comics and even Marvel, i love the movie for fascinating story, wonderful presentation, epic actions, it was funny, beloved characters (for the most part a bit) and enjoyable acting for some of them one last time. I love it so much that i considered a best movie to watch, especially with the perfect way to end of "The Infinity saga". And that is why i considered "Avengers Endgame" as the number 1 best film of 2019 i've ever watch...!

So this ends of my final countdown of 2019, but got any other best films that i miss, let me know at the comment bellow.

Top 5 worst movies of 2019

Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome back to the countdown.

Last time, i've covered the controversial moments of the end of our decade with people pointing out video games with excuses, soo many remakes that we just can't take it so bad and one of our favorite website who faced a consequence and changed the rule that it isn't helping that it might as well be dead in the future.

But when it comes to the movies, its not as crazy as last year, but it was pretty average, with some movies that we loved and also change the world and of course, so much remakes for the money as i said on my previous list.

Last year, i picked eight worst movies that i watched, but this year, i got five of them from disappointment to the worst. So as always, these are my pick that i watched that they made me feel disappointed to feel pissed off in order to get off my chest.

So, this is my "Top 5, worst movies of 2019", lets dive in, shall we?

Number 5: Rocketman

Lets started with the one that lot of people liked this movie, but it didn't work in my opinion.

When it comes to a movie based on the famous British artist, it seems that they wanted to making it a different level unlike "Bohemian Rhapsody". The the good thing about this movie is that it has a nice musical montage what we familiar with, some great acting and the visuals are amazing.

However, my positive died out quickly that even though the songs were great, but i felt that its like an average covers and the singing of Taron Egerton who played Sir Elton John. I mean i know he did a nice work, but its just it doesn't connected well. And some musical moments feels like it plays in Disney style like "Mary Poppins", which i find it to be shameless. And of course, the movie is suffered with inaccurate moments in true stories, like most of songs didn't happened in early days, the concert where Elton plays and few more of them.

Though i will give a credit to have a movie with a very first gay sex scene, which im rather impressed to see, as a supporter of LGBT, but of course, the scene ended up being cut from homophobic censorship outside of US and UK. Especially one country banned the movie for same reason. As always, im so sick of homophobic reaction, this has to change...!

Even though this is the film isn't supposed to be, but il give a credit what they're trying to having a movie based on life of Elton John. And that makes a good reason for why i put this movie in a lower list, though im still sticking to "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Number 4: Dumbo 2019

Tim Burton is always being a filmmaker with his vision something to be impressive since he brought us "A Nightmare before Christmas", "Edward Scissorhand", "Corpse Bride", "Frankenweenie" or even "Ed Wood". But his vision of Dumbo, it isn't work.

For starter, im very impressed that this is a completely different than the original version that you think that this movie will be light-heart, cute and fun for watching, right? Well, probably not.

Though the presentation, the performance of circus and some characters with actors are pretty nice to, it looks bright, colorful and rather entertaining what we see, even we enjoy the reunion between Danny DeVito, Michael Keaton and of course, Tim Burton since "Batman Returns", sadly, Michelle Pfeiffer isn't in this movie.

However, if Burton made something different, it ended feel so bland and heartless to watch. That's the main issue of this movie, its the lack of heart that we wanted to have sympathy for Dumbo, which it only shows in the first act and thats it, the rest of the film is all down from hill for underdeveloped characters and the kids (who're replacing Timothy the mouse) are not only forgettable, but their acting is so emotionless.

Though Burton's Alice in Wonderland is ok (minus the sequel), but his vision just doesn't work for its execution. Otherwise, stick the 1941 version.

Number 3: Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker

*sigh* Poor Star Wars, it feels like everything is fell apart ever since Disney bought Lucasfilms that they wanted to having a new trilogy. While "The Force Awakens" is a welcome return, but everything is going down with "The last Jedi" and then we have this.

Though i know that i heard some people loved this movie, including my dad, since we're a fan of Star Wars, but with this movie, it feels like they wanted to make the last one so hard to having perfect ending like "Avengers Endgame", but ended up badly.

Though some of the characters are welcome return (minus Leia, since they're using a Never-Before-Seen clips of Carrie Fisher in The Force Awakens before her death) and some of new one are not bad, the presentation is impressive with vehicles, weapons, planets (except for some that they're running out of ideas) and of course, the action scenes, because this is Star Wars.

But if they wanted to make a story to have a perfect way to end, why they have so many plotholes to leaving them unanswered? Like, i asked so many question about the force healing, Palpatine's return from the dead, warp speed from planet after planet and few others that im losing my track. It desperately needs to tell us the truth instead of leaving them in the dark., Even though i may like the new characters, but no offense to you all, i felt Rey had a good start from the first of sequel trilogy, but fell apart for underdeveloped a bit, leaving her a semi-Mary Sue, due to her prediction. But of course, don't even give me started with the twists, which again, i won't tell what's happening.

Even though we have a shows that they're good like "The Mandolorian", but "Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker" just comes off as a big pile of disappointment for the execution and so many unanswered questions from plotholes.

Number 2: The Lion King 2019

Welp, Disney has done it again, but even worse than Dumbo 2019...!

This isn't just a bad remake, but this is a Clickbait remake that it has billion dollars at the box office to knocking down Frozen, i mean i was very pissed off when i heard the film so bad that i had to put it higher on the list.

And you wanna know why? Because this film is unoriginal, that why!
Granted, the visual is ok at the time, they wanted to making it as an animated photorealistic with animals to make then look real at the time and the voice acting is good, especially with James Earl Jones, even though its a welcome return to playing as Mufasa, but his voice isn't the same as the original, i mean yeah, i know he's been aged.

But everything is going down of hill very quickly that the story is pretty much the same as we know, but my biggest problem is that copied the same way as the original with the whole "Shot-for-shot", which i was begging myself if they add something new or different, but the answer is like 90% of "No". The songs are ok, but it feels like a cheap cover that we'd rather listening the original, not to mention, during the musical scenes, where are they going, is this Disney remake movie or the opening of Anime??
Not to mention, if we like to feel the characters, but why nearly everyone are emotionless, i mean i know they wanted to focus on realism with being cartoony, but it just makes them like an Animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's.

This film is the final nail of the coffin (unless you counted the remake of "Lady and the Tramp" in Disney+) for their remake, because as we all agree, they love to milking the nostalgia to making billions of dollars in order to make something unoriginal and no effort for their own remake, and if you though "Beauty and The Beast" is a bad a remake, but this one is the icing on the cake of lack of creativity for making a remake film.

I could've easily pick this one as the number one on this list, but it had to drop on Number 2, because at least it was average for the time. Even though this movie is shameless, but its also feels like a Clickbait for the box office.

And now, the number one Worst film of the final decade goes to...!

Number 1: Playmobil The Movie

You know this coming, don't ya?

Lets face it, making movie based on Toys is a no easy ask for not just buy the rights, but also trying to be original and being acknowledge what is all about in the world. One of them is "The Lego Movie", which is kinda risky how movie ended up with, but we're very surprised and happy how it turns out.

However, since "The Lego Movie" got a lotta inspiration to having an adaptation of movie based on toys, why's Playmobil The Movie just came out as a ripoff?

For starter, the animation looks ok, i like the build of the world, the figures design and the colorful quality, but everything going down so fast that we can tell it feels typical like in Colosseum, fairy tale world, futuristic city and few others. And not to mention, the animation of the Playmobil figures isn't like the way they movie, they just move like human being than being limited like any Lego Minifigures do.

But of course, the story feels like it was written by a group teenagers for no originality, no effort and no knowledge what this film is, that's the major issue about this movie, its the lack of identity what Playmobil is all about, but it also have a very bad joke that it barely make us laugh and the songs are absolutely unnecessary and cliche for how we feel for the characters. Speaking of the characters, they're not nearly a ripoff from either Emmett or Lego's Batman, they're pretty obnoxious and underdeveloped that we feel careless for them, especially the main twins.

By the end of the day, this is not only shameless, but it doesn't feel like a movie, its an advertisement that makes you wanna buy the toys. In The Lego Movie, it has a very good meaning what's all about, building the world whatever we like to, but this movie means "Buy your Shit!". I mean i thought "Arctic Dogs" is a very bad film that im glad i never watching, but made me feel regretful to waste my time or my money to see this,

Not only this film is a complete ripoff, but this film is a good reason why i picked this as a Number One worst movie of 2019 i've ever saw...!

Got any other worst films on my list, let me know in the comment bellow.

So this ends of my countdown, but til next time, il go to the opposite direction to do the best films on my list.

Thanks for reading and im Anthony, signing out.

Top 10 Controversial moments of 2019

Hey everyone, my name is Anthony and welcome back to the countdown.

Well, looks like we're coming to an end of the decade of 2010, it feels like a roller coaster ride from great to downright nightmare right now before we reach to 2020. When it comes to 2019, it feels more like the final nail of the coffin of badness, its almost the whole world hate ourselves and unprepared before we're moving to the next decade.

So, as you already guess the title, im gonna make another list of controversial moments of the final year of the 2010 decade, but as always, these are the pick that what i considered to be downright questionable to stupidity. But there's too much and hard to pick like Brexit and few others out there.

So, lets looking back with my 10 Controversial moments of 2019, lets dive in, shall we?

Number 10: US Government shutdown
Now lets start with the one that it not just a massive backlash for its shut down, but it also declared as the new longest Government shutdown ever from end of 2018 to the beginning of 2019.

The reason why it was shut down, its because captain orange face Donald Trump refused to agreeing the appropriations bill in order to funding at the federal government or perhaps he was begging for the bill in order to tell the Mexicans to F*** off in order to building the border wall with over $5.7 billion.

This is gotta be one of the worst excuse ever that there's no reason to shut down, when thousands of employees are being punished by the so-called "President of America" for shut down partially and various employees barely earning profits while in jobs. which it took over 35 days to wait if Trump needs to be F*** off to let us earning royalties.

Thankfully, Trump does recovered the debacle in January 25th 2019, which despite many employees lived happily ever after, but Trump is still begging for the bills for the wall like an obnoxious rich kid. Lets hope Trump will be defeated by Bernie Sanders in the presidential election in 2020 to bringing peace in America.

Number 9: Projared's fallen from the grace LIED
From several years ago, we had several Youtubers fell from the grace over their controversies like DaddyOfive (though he's got banned by Youtube, thank god) as well with some who's still getting away without punishment like Logan Paul, PrankInvasion and Onision. But, there's one person that we though he deserved to be hated, but proving us that we're wrong, that is my favorite game reviewer Projared.

For several years, Jared Knabenbauer became a new star of game review that we enjoyed to watch his videos, whether his reviews of games, talking about Dungeons and Dragons, Pokemon Nuzlocke Challenge and appeared as a special guest of various videos.

However, things went into a boiling point, where Jared announced that he broke up his ex-girlfriend Heldi for changing reason, but Heldi proving him to be a liar that he's one of those celebrities who got cheated to having a fair with another girl named Holly, but thats not all, he was also exposed for the fact that he sends his nude photo of his towards his fans (including two underage between 15 to 16) in order to gain fame, resulting Jared losing his fame, including lose his subscribers 20%. Not to mention, Holly is desperate to defending him, claiming that Heldi assaulted Jared to losing his D&D career, but Heldi denied and calling her a liar too. Its more of a "She said/She said" when it comes to Jared's reputation.

After several months, Jared came back in September 2019 to get off his chest that not only he issued an apology, but it turns out that we hurt him with lies. According to him, he had to talking to the lawyer for investigation about his action since the past. Jared said that he didn't show his private part to his fans (just his torso and thats it) and he wanted to apologizing to the two underage "fans", but not only they refuse to accepting his apology, but they made the evidence in order to make him look like a pedophile, despite Jared didn't noticed that they're not only underage, but they also want to scamming anyone for their work. As for his "cheating" to Heldi, he didn't cheated on her, he was attempt to file a divorce since October 2018 since he talked to the lawyer for breaking up at Heldi, but Heldi still didn't believe his truth.

In the end, it seems that Jared has finally cleaned up to showcase the evidence that we're all wrong for what he's done, in other words, he's proven to be innocent that he's been falsely accused of his action, despite he didn't realizing about the underage and his early plan to break up with his ex. And of course, he's back in positive and he's going back in Youtube to gain his subscribers back.

Thats why i put his "fallen from grace" in the lower list, because at least he did tell the truth, unlike many rich kids on Youtube who're always getting away...

Number 8: UK Parliament of loot boxes
Lets face it, the video game industry is in problem for not just the excuse that il get one later, but its companies greedy decision of Microtransactions since Mobile games, even the big names like SEGA, Nintendo and Ubisoft jump on the bandwagon of mobile games.

But the real deal for their excuses is the use of "Loot Boxes", they're everywhere for their demanding for our wallet. We just can't take it, even the politics agree, by calling those as a gambling for young kids. This is exactly how the Europe took notice and plan to banning them for the video game industry, specially in Belgium.

So, in UK, they went to a parliament with several employees from EA and Epic Games to considering that Loot Boxes are harmful to kids without permission, but for brainless reason, two employees from EA and Epic defending themselves by saying "They're not Loot Boxes, we called "Supruise Mechanic"!!" and "Supwize Mechanic are not harmful, we doing this for money that kids would wuv it! Waahh!!". I mean, who the hell says that?! This is one of the worst excuses i've ever in my life since EA's "Pride and accomplishment".

I think that we can all agree that because of excuses, there's no way to defeating the politics, because they'll take the government to going after some games that including Loot Boxes and Microtransactions by putting a higher rating to make sure that kids will never buy them without parents's permission.

But lets hope the US will also going after the several game companies to outlawing games with Microtransactions that kids will not allowed, or they'll facing consequences from COPPA.

Number 7: So many remakes movies, so bigger time
As far as i know, the whole remake is now becoming a trend in Hollywood. Though im not talking about the TV shows or even the video games, though then show is debatable and the video game has some good one, for the most parts...

But what i am about to complaining, its the whole movies with remake, which it really makes the movie goers (including me) getting frustrated and questioning if Hollywood and studios are running out of ideas for money.

One of them is obviously Disney. Don't give me wrong, Disney has made a lot of films that are fun, entertaining and a magic into them. But its just that Disney are so desperate to make another big movie for making a live action remake of our nostalgia films like Dumbo, Aladdin and The Lion King, which a lot of them are successful for their quick cash. Especially the remake of The Lion King, which it reached over 1 billion dollars, i was pissed off when i heard and Disney keeps planning to make another remakes for not just in theaters, but also in Disney+ as well.

Of course, Disney isn't the only company for milking the old films, like Hellboy (which it was easily flopped that no one was asked for), Pet Sematary, Charlie's Angels (not because of this movie, but the actress/director Elizabeth Banks is acting like a drama queen when her movie failed, Badly...!) and even Black Christmas for the second time...!

In the end, i am still begging for various studio for when they're gonna stop staying in the bandwagon trend of remakes, we like to see something original or even done in adaptation. Instead of wasting their time and the budget for making the movie remake out there.

Number 6: So many mass shootings in USA and the blaming of video games
Lets face it, US is pretty much in danger with so many shooters for decades, especially that i already mentioned in my last year's list.

But things went further that as im working, there are over 400 mass shootings in US with more than 1,400 people were survived but injured and more than 400 were killed and the most ever occurred of shooting is on August 2019 with over 89 people were killed. and to this day, we're still protesting to stop the mass shooting and the gun controls need to be expanded.

But of course, the final nail of the coffin that ever since the shootings happened, many people (yes, including Donald Trump) are putting the blame over the video games for creating mass shootings. And that really pissing me off that lot of people and i calling "It" as an excuse to get attention on medias and even on the internet. Which resulting that several stores (including Walmart) planned to stop advertising the games with guns, despite that they also have guns on their stock, which not only its just stupid, but also hypocrite as well.

In fact, one of my favorite game reviewer Angry Joe took notice about the excuse by doing the research about the video games popularity and the revenue between USA and Japan, which obviously that its not just we called the statement as inexcusable, but Japan doesn't have a mass shooting to this day (correct me if im wrong in the comment, please) and the mass shooting obviously came from mental problems like racism, homophobic and even hatred.

So lets hope there will be a less shooting once we moving the next decade and if only the surveillance will be quickly alerted if there's another shooter out there to be arrested or perhaps the shooters will get killed (i know that killing without mercy is wrong, but i prefer to hear the bad guys dying, no offense).

Number 5: KyoAni's arson attack
You know, i've talk about the controversies of movies, video games, politics and society, but i've never talking about the controversies of Anime, but this incident needs to be talked about for looking back and i gotta say, it really hurts in the Anime community.

This incident took place in Kyoto, Japan, where an arson who took the accusation to a serious level that he accused the studio as a "plagiarism" of his own novel (when he was in hospital), which he proceeded to attack the studio by set the place on fire for his "revenge". I mean, "revenge" isn't helping very much, when his blaze literally destroyed projects, computers and worst of all, killing some of designers and directors of Anime series, including Yasuhiro Takemoto, who's famously involved with K-On!, Clannad and even The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya

It is a very devastated moment when this ever happened and it was maybe considered as the most deadliest incident since either Myojo 56 building fire in 2001 or even World War II. With all the damages and injuries, i hope they'll find a better place the fire incident in Japan will never happen again, may wish them a good life.

Number 4: Canadian election and #Wexit
Now this one is really difficult to talk about, but i had to pick this on the list, due to my concern of my homeland Canada.

Before we get to the election, we expected to have a good people out there to make Canada to a new level in positive? Nope!
Instead we have almost all the parties that they're not helping, with Justin Trudeau (in Liberal) wanted to raising taxes to save the environment, despite he's already being exposed for his insensitive racism, Andrew Scheer (in Conservative) is pretty much being denial and delusional for his anti-support of environment, Jagmeet Singh also wanted to raising taxes, Yves-François Blanchet wanted Quebec as separated country and Maxime Bernier is pretty much in hatred level in the country.

At the end of the election, Trudeau remains his role as a Prime Minister which despite he has lesser vote from Scheer, he has more seats than Scheer, leaving the Conservative look like a punching bag for the voters, it was bad that everyone in Alberta are jumping on bandwagon with #Wexit in order unionizing as a independent country/nation, but it was made with internet bots and probably disinformation in order to get attention and more hate at Trudeau on the internet like Twitter.

For right now, even though i may or may not cared about the Canadian politics, its just that im concerned for my country's fate based on the future plan and other stuff...

Number 3: Blizzard's banning over politics
Lets face it, Blizzard in 2019 is rather... Abysmal for say the least, especially since they're with Activision.

There had been plenty of bad moments like over 800 employees been layoff for the lack of pay, despite Activision Blizzard still own their profits. But none can compare for what happened during the end of Hearthstone Grandmasters streaming event.

In October 2019, a Hong Kong played named "Blitzchung" won the match with $10K and during the interview, he came with a mask to proclaim that he support the protesters during the "Hong Kong Protest 2019" (which the protest is about the problem with the fugitive bills since March 2019, but thats a different story). So, you think Blizzard will accept his support based on the protest, right? Nope!

Blizzard just give him a one-year ban and stripped his reward, because of this, it received a huge backlash that not only its unfair to DQ'd the winner, but also abusing the free-speech when we like to talking about politic whatever we want, but Blizzard banned the winner, because they're too scared to hearing this! Witht he backlash, everyone are jumping on the bandwagon with "#BoycottBlizzard" to telling them never abusing the free speech and they need to support the protesters from Hong Kong, but Blizzard refused to take our criticism by banning more people on website for abusing the free-speech again and again.

After the madness, during Blizzcon, the CEO of the company J. Allen Brack came to respond about the incident to issue with apology with reducing Blitzchung's ban to six months, but his apology is so vague and not helping that it might as well be translated to "Sorry, but not sorry!". Because of this, the U.S. Congress are going after Blizzard for what they've done for their action (with the aforementioned reducing suspension and even Nintendo of America are canceling Overwatch launch on Switch in New York because of Bizzard.

In the end, we can all agree that the way where Blizzard's did to the winner's suspension is downright disrespectful and as always, abusing the free speech.

And speaking of abusing free speech...

Number 2: Article 13 passed
If you though the repeal of Net Neutrality is bad, well this one is gonna be ever worse for European users on the internet. Though the whole "Save Net Neutrality" is still going since two years ago, the senators are supportive of Net Neutrality and we'll keep spreading for peace.

Meanwhile, the European Union has made even worse what we heard, by making a new law for censoring memes!

As i said from last year's list of controversies, EU made a law of Article 13 and 15 that according to their law is to going full force of copyright infringement against all the posts from movies and music from our freedom. Which is nothing but a plan of censorship.

With our words spreading to save the memes in Europe, you think that EU will accept our issue? Nope!
The vote has already passed that Article 13 and 15 are approved that it will affect around in 2021, at least its what they said. It was so bad that it resulting into a protest from many European users, as well with criticisms with Youtube and Twitch.

Plus, one woman named Julia Reda believed that Article 13 might be considered to be violated from CETA (Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement), which is not secret that it might ruining the Fair Use, which that will made me scared if this will affecting my homeland Canada too. We can all agree that EU just doesn't know how the internet work that we like to posting every memes with jokes and Dankest. But based on EU's decision, that will easily ruined my fellow friends from Europe, which is not only unfair, but also a blatant censorship.

I could've easily picked this as a number one spot, but i dropped on number 2, because at least the internet is still open in Europe and we have to keep spreading to cancel the law for Fair Use, except the one that makes on top spot...!

And now... My number one the most Controversial of the year goes to...!

Number 1: Youtube's fallen from grace and carelessness
You know this coming, don't you?

For nearly 15 years, Youtube is no secret to be most visited and detestably the best site we always like going in there, watching videos and joking with. But sadly, everyone about Youtube is nothing but fell apart from its punishment.

Which in 2018, many groups filed multiple complaints at Federal Trade Commission about Youtube collecting data of children, which it was confirmed in September 2019 that Youtube had to fine the damage with over $170 million dollars. Because of this, Youtube had to make a new rule, but not the good kind.

For example from their new rule, if you upload a video as "For kids", you get NOTHING! No comments, no rating, no recommendation, no looking back on your history, no notification about the video and no monetization (which means you get no profit on your account). But if you make a video as "Not for kids", Youtube will automatically took notice on your video that it looks like a kid content that you get fined $42,000 per video. Otherwise if you have over million videos, thats about more than $4 Million! Im not exaggerating for the creators's while doing my own calculation for the future.

Because of this, the new rule (before it'll starts in early 2020) received a major criticisms that it'll easily ruins Youtubers's career that they'll either losing their home, their job or even going in jail. Because of this not only makes Youtubers concerned, but so does FTC as well. Which to be clarified, FTC are not involved of Youtube's changing rule, it was Youtube themselves for changing the rule that it hurts us. In fact, FTC opened a comment reception (to be positive of course) about the COPPA for changing after 20 years and even tell Youtube to including "General audience" rating. In fact Youtube sent their comment to verify at FTC if their new rule is helping (which i say otherwise, meaning that this "New Rule" isn't helping for the future).

Unfortunately, it seems that Youtube will never learn their lesson about our videos and criticisms, which we can all agree that Youtube is dying before 2020. They uploaded "Youtube Rewind 2020", which they're too desperate to stay positive, but the damage was already done, because we're pissed and concerned over Youtube's future plan and probably the final nail of the coffin is that Youtube was so desperate to stay positive by upgrading their guideline in order to automatically flag down the videos that are deemed "Harassment", one of them is one of my favorite Youtuber IdubbbzTV's video "Content Deputy", where he criticized over at Youtuber named "Leafyishere", who's infamous for bullying at innocent users with mental issues like Autism, eating addiction, retardation and few others. Which instead of punishing Leafy, Youtube just straight up punishing innocent user like Idubbbz for quote-on-quote "Harassment". This is just nothing but a blatant Censorship in their desperation to stay positive in the community, its like Youtube treats you like Shit!

In the end, its safe to say that Youtube has no respect at all of you, with auto-flagging videos for censorship, they barely know about FTC and COPPA, they'll punishing your for your future video that you'll upload and worst of all, i think they're too desperate to get their money back after being fined, which means that again, if you upload a mature content that we really need a General content, you'll get fined by Youtube themselves.

Which is a good reason that i pick Youtube's poor reputation as a Number 1 of the most controversial moment in final decade of 2010.

And most importantly to give before going back to the movie lists, il give a similar reference from WWE is:
I did not screw Youtube, Youtube Screws Youtube.

End of story and til next time...
